Hey guys, I’ve been using the P100 for about two weeks now and wanted to share my own use case, and also see if there’s any way I can improve the automation.
I had a bit of an annoying situation where some lights would occasionally stay on all night, probably due to false detections. So I came up with this idea:
When:
– The bedroom door is detected as “closed” (I only close it when I’m going to sleep)
And:
– No presence in the living room OR presence in the bedroom (I live alone, so this works for me )
Then:
– Turn off all the lights expect the one in the bedroom
Hello, Carolina.
I wouldn’t get tied to presence sensors. Instead, I would put “if the lights are on” (any condition) in the IF condition. Explanation: at the moment of closing the P100, if at least one light is on, all the lights will turn off. The reliability of such automation will immediately increase by 100%.
I have automated all my lights here as well! I think having automated lights is the easiest way to have a big impact smart home wise.
Sometimes i get up in the morning and a light turned on unexpectedly at night but that’s for an other day haha. Would be boring if everything works right away
