PAS800 Firmware Update Issues and Resolutions

Hi everyone, I recently upgraded my PAS800 device to the latest firmware version 002.000.000, and I wanted to share some of the challenges I encountered and how I managed to resolve them. Hopefully, this can help others who might be facing similar issues.

First, I noticed that after the update, the exported CSV files were missing some important descriptions in the ‘Measurement Name’ column. This made it difficult to filter and analyze specific data, like energy consumption. After some research and reaching out to the support community, I discovered that adjusting the export settings and using specific filters in Excel helped restore the necessary data integrity.

Another issue I faced was with the ‘Monitoring and Control’ section of the device. The name field wasn’t fully visible, which was problematic since I use long device identifiers for clarity. I found that adjusting the column width manually and using a smaller font size helped accommodate the full name display.

Lastly, I wanted to customize the display to show only essential information, like the device name and energy readings, without the extra fields. I managed to achieve this by using the device’s customization menu and hiding the unnecessary columns. This made the interface much cleaner and more user-friendly.

Overall, while the firmware update brought some initial challenges, the community support and problem-solving techniques helped me overcome them. I’m now able to use the PAS800 more efficiently and appreciate the improvements the update brought. If anyone else is experiencing similar issues, feel free to reach out, and I’d be happy to share more details or tips!
