Hello fellow users! I recently encountered an issue with the Project Configuration Tool (PCT) where it would get stuck during backup or export transfers. This was quite frustrating as it required a complete reboot each time, interrupting my workflow. After some research and troubleshooting, I discovered that the issue was related to the Notification and Listening port settings in PCT. The default port was set to 0, which causes PCT to request an available port from the OS. However, if network policies block this port, PCT can’t detect the issue, leading to the transfer getting stuck.To resolve this, I changed the port numbers for both the Notification and Listening ports in the PCT settings. This simple adjustment fixed the problem, and I no longer experience the stuck transfer issue. It’s great to see that such issues can often be resolved with a bit of configuration tweaking.I wanted to share this solution with the community in case others are facing the same problem.
