Philips Hue Color Sync Issue Solved!

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Philips Hue color sync issue I encountered recently. I recently upgraded my lighting setup with the Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance starter kit, and I was really excited to get everything up and running. However, I ran into a bit of a snag when trying to sync the colors across multiple bulbs.

I set up the Color Coordinator SmartApp, designating one bulb as the master and the others as followers. At first, everything seemed to work smoothly—changing the temperature worked perfectly with a slight delay. But when I tried changing the color to blue, the master bulb changed instantly, while the others briefly turned blue before reverting to white. This was pretty frustrating, as it defeated the purpose of having a coordinated setup.

After some research and trial and error, I discovered that adjusting the delay settings in the Color Coordinator SmartApp made a significant difference. Increasing the delay allowed all bulbs to change colors simultaneously without any reversion. Additionally, ensuring that all bulbs were on the same network and had the latest firmware updates helped stabilize the sync functionality.

It was a bit of a learning curve, but figuring it out was really satisfying! If anyone else is experiencing similar issues, I’d recommend checking your delay settings and making sure all bulbs are up to date. Happy lighting! :star2:
