I recently installed the Philips Hue Outdoor Lighting Strip with the Zigbee driver, and everything was working perfectly at first. I set it up with some flows, and it performed flawlessly for about two weeks. However, the strip suddenly stopped working, and I couldn’t figure out why. I tried reinstalling it by unpairing the old one and pairing a new one, but it didn’t work. I even removed and reinstalled the Zigbee driver, but I kept getting error messages like ‘time to install too long’ or ‘status.already_running_command’. I was really confused and frustrated because it was working fine before.
After some research and trial and error, I found a solution. It turns out the issue was with the firmware on the lighting strip. Updating the firmware resolved the problem, and now the strip is working like new again. I’m so relieved because I was worried I’d have to buy a new one. This experience taught me the importance of checking firmware updates when dealing with smart devices. Hopefully, this helps anyone else who might be experiencing similar issues with their Philips Hue products!
