I have now been hoping that you would bring out a pinpad for a couple of years, so i thought i might suggest this as i dont find any even now.
For guests and family friends that visit / look after the house i would like a solution to manually turn the alarm on / off right inside the door as you would be able to with an ordinary alarm.
I know there’s a smart lock and other gizmos and that you can use your button for e.g. single click to arm and double click to disarm - but that is not what i consider an intuitive nor safe solution.
Hope that you will consider this, can find many others looking for this solution on the forums so there should be a market for it.
Ideally the gadget consists of
- Pinpad 0-9 and lock/unlock buttons
- Indicator if alarm is on/off (green / red) when buttons pressed
- Optional small display, but that’s not really needed if the indicator list is there
- Speaker that can say pip per entered keypress and possibly also be used in the period after entering until alarm is triggered or turned off
