Hi everyone, I wanted to share my positive experience with integrating Xiaomi Flower Sensors into Homey. In the past, I was a bit skeptical about the Xiaomi Flower app’s compatibility with Homey, but after the latest Homey update, everything started working smoothly again!
I have 15 sensors monitoring the soil conditions of my plants, and it’s been a game-changer. The sensors provide real-time data on moisture, temperature, and light levels, which I use to create automated watering schedules. This setup has not only made plant care easier but also more efficient.
One of my favorite features is the ability to set up flows that notify me when a plant needs attention. For instance, if the soil moisture drops below a certain threshold, Homey sends me a push notification. I even integrated a soundboard to play a gentle alert before Homey speaks, which prevents any sudden scares!
I’d like to highlight the Xiaomi Flower Sensor available on AliExpress. It’s affordable and works perfectly with Homey. The setup process was straightforward, and the integration app by Leendert de Kok has been reliable.
