I currently have the PoE doorbell and its setup and works great! Sometimes HomeKit can be a bit delayed with notifications but I have it setup using WiFi. The receiver is directly behind the doorbell is the hallway. Would I notice or gain any benefits if I hardwired and used Ethernet poe?

Just a few quick things to check that might help narrow this down:
- How many Apple Home hubs do you have, and are they hardwired (LAN) or on Wi-Fi?
- Check the Apple Home app (Home Settings → Home Hubs & Bridges) to see which device is currently the active hub. If you have a hub with an Ethernet port (like an Apple TV), turn off “Automatic Selection” and manually set that one as your preferred hub.
- What Wi-Fi router are you using? Also, are the G400, your active Home hub, and your phone connected to the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band?
By the way, do you know how to check the actual Wi-Fi connection quality/signal strength in your router’s settings?

Ethernet is always better than WiFi.

Had Aqara WiFi doorbell with good signal changed to Aqara Poe and it’s more reliable and quicker to open feed so for me always Poe

Hardwire with Ethernet poe is the best way to go.
