This panel will allow the user to quickly use the automation status of both a virtual switch and automation that requires control and operational management.
Considering that you do not want to develop a virtual switch, this will make it possible to fully replace it (the virtual button) on the operational control panel.
I ask for active support of this post by the forum community.
Write here for active publicity of the proposal, THANK YOU.
Until the Aqara team implements this, you might be able to use a quick workaround. It doesn’t display the status, but at least you’ll have a button on the dashboard that turns the automation on and off.
Step 1: Create a scene that turns the automation on and off (toggle)
Hello, unfortunately this does not solve the problem I raised.
A simple example for clarity.
We have a smart lamp icon, let’s assume that we cannot place it on the control panel. The On/Off lamp scene will control (turn on, turn off) the lamp, but to quickly see what state it is in, you need to go into the device.
Another example from life, smart heating based on automations has many options (night, day, autumn, spring…), you have to look for them in automations, of which I have 250 in my house. So you make one page, display a group and clearly see what to turn on and what to turn off.
I think there are many such examples.
