Positive Experience with Govee Table Lamp and Jasco Dimmers

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying my recent additions to my smart home setup, particularly the Govee Table Lamp 2 Pro x JBL Sound and my Jasco (GE) Z-Wave dimmable light switches. The Govee lamp arrived in a beautifully packaged box, which immediately set the tone for what I knew was going to be a fantastic product. The integration with my smart home system has been seamless, and the added JBL sound feature is a delightful bonus that elevates my evenings. :+1:

On the other hand, my Jasco dimmers have been a bit of a puzzle. I’ve noticed that when I turn off a dimmer, the brightness resets to 3%, which doesn’t quite match my expectations from my previous setup with SmartThings. While the actual brightness does remember its previous level when I turn the light back on, the slider in my Lovelace interface doesn’t reflect this change accurately. I’m curious if anyone else has encountered this behavior and if there’s a way to retain the brightness value between off and on states. Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

Overall, I’m thrilled with how my smart home is coming together. The combination of sleek, well-designed products like the Govee lamp and reliable, albeit slightly quirky, devices like my Jasco dimmers makes for an enjoyable and functional setup. I’m looking forward to exploring more features and maybe even diving into some custom scripts to optimize my experience further. If anyone has any insights or recommendations, I’d love to hear them!

Cheers to building a smarter, more connected home! :star2:
