I just wanted to share my positive experience with the Securifi Peanut smart plugs. I purchased three of them recently, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations! Despite not being listed as compatible in the binding docs, the Amazon listing mentioned Zigbee HA 1.2, so I decided to give them a try. Within about five minutes, all three were discovered and fully operational. The setup process was incredibly smooth, and they react noticeably faster than my GE Z-Wave appliance modules. What truly impressed me was their ability to report voltage, power, and current usage, which is a fantastic feature for someone looking to monitor energy consumption. At $15 each, they are an excellent value for the functionality they offer. I’ve been using them to control my Christmas lights, and they’ve performed flawlessly. I also want to share a small lesson I learned during this process. I had a couple of Sonoff Basics devices that I attempted to upgrade without reading the documentation thoroughly. Unfortunately, this led to some devices not turning on anymore. This experience taught me the importance of following instructions carefully before making any changes. In summary, if you’re in the market for affordable, reliable smart plugs that work well with Zigbee, I highly recommend giving the Securifi Peanut plugs a try. They’ve been a great addition to my smart home setup! ![]()
