I wanted to share my positive experience with the Shelly 2 Plus PM after recently upgrading from the Shelly 2.5. I was initially hesitant due to the higher price point, but after using it for a couple of weeks, I can confidently say it was worth the investment.
One of the standout features for me has been the significant reduction in heat output. My previous Shelly 2.5 would often reach around 58°C, which was concerning, especially in my small setup. In contrast, the Shelly 2 Plus PM stays much cooler, averaging around 33°C. This not only makes it safer to handle but also extends its longevity.
The installation process was smooth, and the integration with my existing smart home setup was seamless. The device’s responsiveness and reliability have been impressive, and I appreciate the added peace of mind knowing it’s more energy-efficient.
