Hello everyone, I’ve been using Wyze cameras for about two months now, and I must say, I’m really impressed with their performance. The Pan cameras and static cameras have been a great addition to my home security setup. However, I’ve recently encountered an issue that’s been a bit frustrating, and I’m hoping someone here can offer some advice or solutions.
One of my Pan cameras has started sliding on the counter over time, moving about 3-4 inches over the past week. Additionally, it’s begun to come unplugged at the mini USB connector. I’ve checked online to see if others have experienced this, but I haven’t found much information yet. Does anyone have any tips or solutions for preventing this from happening?
Another issue I’ve been dealing with is related to the live stream functionality of my Wyze v3 cameras. After a recent outage, I noticed that I can no longer access the live streams unless I’m on the same Wi-Fi network as the cameras. This is quite inconvenient, especially when I’m away from home. I’ve tried updating the firmware, resetting the cameras, and even switching to a different Wi-Fi network, but nothing seems to resolve the issue. The live streams work perfectly when I’m at home, but as soon as I switch networks or use cellular data, I can’t view them. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Are there any troubleshooting steps I haven’t considered yet?
Despite these challenges, I’m still very satisfied with my Wyze cameras overall. Their video quality, ease of use, and integration with other smart home devices have been excellent. I’m just hoping to get this live stream issue sorted out so I can fully utilize all the features these cameras have to offer.
If anyone has any insights or suggestions, I’d greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your help!
