I recently purchased a Wyze V4 camera for my front door, and I must say, it’s been a fantastic addition to my smart home setup. The video quality is outstanding, and the motion detection is incredibly accurate. However, I did encounter a minor issue that I thought I’d share in case others are experiencing the same thing.
Initially, I noticed that when I tapped on the camera in the Wyze app to view the full feed, I would occasionally get a network error. This was a bit frustrating, especially since I knew the camera was working because I received notifications and short clips of detected events. After some research and trial and error, I discovered that simply rebooting my phone resolved the issue. It seems like the app needed a fresh start to connect properly.
Now, everything works smoothly, and I’m thoroughly impressed with how the V4 handles both day and night modes. The integration with my other smart devices has been seamless, and I love how I can access live feeds and playback from anywhere. If you’re considering upgrading your security setup, I highly recommend giving Wyze cameras a try—they’ve exceeded my expectations!
