Thanks to the camera’s night vision and motion detection, I was able to alert an electrician exactly where the problem was. It’s incredible how this device not only provided peace of mind but also prevented a potentially dangerous situation. If anyone else has had similar experiences or uses their Wyze cameras for home safety, I’d love to hear about it! On another note, I’ve been experimenting with the Xiaomi Miio binding for my Aqara gateway. It’s been working inconsistently since I upgraded to OpenHAB 4.2. I keep getting error messages about JSON parsing issues, which seems to happen every 30-40 seconds. I’ve tried adjusting the polling intervals and even reinstalling the binding, but the problem persists. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Any suggestions on how to stabilize the connection would be greatly appreciated! Speaking of devices, I’ve also been trying to set up my Philips Hue lamps to flash briefly when triggered by certain events, like motion detection. However, the option to flash ‘shortly’ seems to have disappeared from the app. Previously, this was a lifesaver for quick attention-grabbing alerts. I’ve noticed that now, the lamps flash multiple times instead of just once. Does anyone know of a workaround or alternative method to achieve a single, brief flash? It’s such a handy feature, and I’d hate to lose it. Lastly, I’ve been looking into the Honeywell HR92 Evo thermostat and would love to integrate it with my SmartThings setup. I’m relatively new to this, so I’m seeking simple, step-by-step guidance. If anyone has successfully paired their Honeywell thermostat with SmartThings or has any tips for a smooth integration, please share!
