Possible to call fan hold from Home Assistant?

I added my W200 to Home Assistant using Matter. It works. But I don’t see any way to control the fan. Possible to control the fan (and auto-fan hold / manual fan) using Home Assistant? If not, consider this a feature request to expose these as options in Matter so I can control them.

Yeah, I really wish they would add fan control via Matter to the W200.

For now, you can:

  • Create a Scene that sets a fan mode
  • Create another Scene to turn the fan off
  • Go to Connect to Ecosystems > Matter > Scene and Signal Sync, and enable it for these two Scenes.

This will create toggles in HA that you can turn on to turn that fan mode on and off.

That seems to work. For anyone wondering where the “Connect to Ecosystems” is, you need to navigate out of the device and back to the app home screen, then navigate to your Profile. It is a feature of the app, not the specific device (“Third-party Matter Ecosystem” is not the same as the “Connect to Ecosystems”).

Sad that this requires the app to accomplish :frowning:
