Presence sensor FP300 erratic since last firmware update

Since the firmware update of yesterday 26th May 2026 the presence sensor is not behaving well, specially it fails detecting absence.
This is a problem because that absence should trigger lights off in my case.
I did reset the device, re-learned the room and tried different sensibility settings: nothing seems to work.
By the way, the firmware update took ages!

Hi @brachetta ! Sorry for your experience. Can you tell us if you use zigbee or Matter? What firmware are you using exactly? And how is it placed exactly? Maybe it’s just a small thing to improve

Hi and thanks for the reply!
The sensor is placed on the ceiling of a small bathroom. It triggers lights and extractor (operated by the aqara t2 relay) based on presence and humidity.
Everything was working great until the firmware update.
It’s on Zigbee, which is my preferred protocol for Aqara devices.
I tried it all, from factory reset to changing protocol to Matter and back to zigbee. Nothing helps, the sensor works “sometimes” now and it mostly fails to detect absence.

Btw the firmware is now 0.0.0_6542.
It was all good before this one. Got updated two days ago.

Since mine did this update it has been a complete pain, i triggers presence randomly all the time now, i have reset, relearned, adjusted sensitivity from high, med and low, nothing helps. is there a way to go back to an older firmware?

have it in zigbee mode.

Hello.
