I use Alexa as my home hub (maybe unfortunately) but have wanted to use the light sensor in my FP2 to trigger automations in the shade store app. This has been a long lasting problem of mine. Anyone figured out a work around? Shade Store app is not great so not sure if I need to dive deep into something like home assistant or something like that.
I would go the route of Home Assistant + a different hub, like the Bond Bridge Pro to run the Shade Store shades. The integration is said to work well (much better than the Shade Store app). This would let you create infinitely customizable automations depending on the light levels reported by the FP2 via Matter! If you don’t already have Home Assistant set up (I run it in docker on a NAS) they do have standalone products like the “Green” which is plug and play.
