Hello everyone, I wanted to share my experience with preserving historical data after replacing my Envoy Enphase solar production sensor. For quite some time, I’ve had a working integration logging my solar production. Recently, due to a hardware issue, the Communications Gateway needed to be replaced, which resulted in a new integration discovery with different Entity IDs. I was concerned about losing the historical data, but after some research, I found a way to link the new IDs to the existing history. While it wasn’t straightforward, it was manageable by adjusting the integration settings and ensuring the new gateway’s data was properly mapped. This experience highlighted the importance of maintaining historical data for tracking energy production trends. I’m curious if others have faced similar challenges and how they resolved them.
