Problem pairing a device that was not removed from another hub.”

“I used to use the device ZNDDMK11LM with an LED strip, but I probably forgot to remove it from the M2 hub that I sold. Now, when I try to pair it with the new M3 hub, it says I need to remove it from the old hub first. I tried holding the button for 5 seconds, 20 seconds and even longer, but nothing works. Is there any idea how to pair it again?”

Hello @rkoperdak
You need to contact support support@aqara.con to clarify whether they can remove your device from the server so that you can link it again.

Unfortunately, I have tried, but my HUB still say: please remove the device from the old Hub.

So you have the deletion protection function enabled on your hub. I think the support team can help you.

I also found out that this device appeared in my iPhone Home ap.

The pairing issue was resolved thanks to the Aqara support team. If you no longer have the hub and the device was not removed from it, you need to disconnect all the hubs you have, and then the device can be reset to factory settings. Hopefully, this will be useful to someone in the future. Robert
