Problems with Heatit Thermostat Version 1.7

I recently upgraded my Heatit Z-Wave thermostat to version 1.7, and I’m encountering some serious issues that are making it almost unusable. The device no longer displays the actual temperature, and the heating control is unreliable. This is a big problem because I rely on this thermostat to maintain a comfortable home environment.

When I tested the new version, I noticed that the thermostat only shows the set point temperature instead of the current temperature. Even through Z-Wave, the controller receives the set point temperature as both the set point and actual value, which is incorrect. Additionally, the heating doesn’t seem to respond consistently, and the switching is unpredictable. I’ve tested it with two thermometers placed next to the device, and the behavior is baffling.

I’m really puzzled about what’s causing this. The product number hasn’t changed, so it should be the same device. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with version 1.7? Are there any workarounds or fixes available? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I’m hoping someone in the community has encountered this and can offer some guidance. This issue is affecting my ability to manage my home’s heating effectively, and I’d really like to resolve it as soon as possible. Thanks in advance for your help!
