Problems with the W100 (automations)

Hello everybody,
unfortunately I am having problems switching the W 100 thermostat with automation.
I have set everything correctly in the Aqara app, for example to switch on the Aqara light with the minus button.
Unfortunately, all actions remain without function.
Does anyone else have any ideas as to what the problem could be or what I am doing wrong?

Golovne, V tied W100 to TVR or W500. If you have bound it, the buttons (+,-) will not function.
In this situation, the middle button needs to be programmed.

I have now tried again to configure the centre button with the light.
Unfortunately, it still doesn’t work.
The strange thing is that when I press the preview button in the app, the light comes on. Only the button does not work. Does anyone else have any ideas as to what the problem might be?

It’s a shame, but the W100 should be completely untied from the thermostat. I did a control automation and it started working only after disconnecting the binding.:slightly_frowning_face:

Oh wow, that’s great thank you forcthe tip! when I disconnect the thermostat and the light switches actually work.
Does that mean I can’t control the thermostat at the same time as the lights?

Hallo meine Freund. Automation with Aqara W100 with the three buttons are enable only with Matter connection to the first setup. With ZigBee you can only setting the temperature for Aqara E1 thermostat. I hope o help you. Schön Tag noch.

Many thanks. My W100 is connected via Zigbee but when I want to connect to the thermostat I can’t use the buttons for something else

No, you can’t. With Zigbee the three buttons are ready to setting temperature and power for your Thermostat.
But if you choose Matter, you can setting automation for the three buttons.
