My thread was blocked for some reason about product requests.

My wishlist is for an outdoor sensor similar to that of the door and window Sensor. Iā€™d love one for my front and back gates to know if/when they have been opened, left open.

The back one for the gate down to my garden grass area to know if the kids have gone down there without us knowing as this is a huge area and want to make sure they are supervised when there.

@AqaraBot do you think this would be possible?

If Aqara aims to become a market leader in the home security sector, an outdoor alarm siren is essential for alerting neighbors and safeguarding properties against burglaries. While products like the M3 Hub, G3 Camera, and Hub M1S Gen 2 can function as alarm sirens, they are not suitable for outdoor use as they can be easily disconnected and lack the volume needed to be effective outdoors. In contrast, an outdoor siren provides persistent alerts even if the main hubs are tampered with by a thief.

I can have another thousand of ideas, on of them can be Energy Dongle which will be able to monitor electricity consumption of house. External version of sensors (door check, temperature, vibration,ā€¦)

A rotary button detachable like Tapo S200 or the Phillips Hue.
Maybe a H2 Switch with battery :ok_hand:

For me personally I would like to see some new products but especially new features and functionality in existing products we use. The process of making them smarter seems to slow down for some. For example, our cameras G5 and G3 donā€™t recognize our pets. The G4 doorbell did (returned due to other issues).

My wishlist for new products:

  • Doorbell with better camera angles, higher class weather resistant, better connection. G4 overheated to many times (sun facing door), water on the inside with heavy rain, connection issues with our thick EU walls (new house).

  • Smart thermostat, preferably with the looks of the dial wall switch and support for floorheating

  • Lighting options, like CCT ledstrips

  • Zigbee (/threat) Controllers to control your own devices like ceiling fans / lights or led strips. For example the kit they use in their ceilinglight controls two lights and has zigbee, this would be great to replace the light in my ceiling fan to make it dimmable and add zigbee
