Looking at all the suggestions/wishlists in this thread, including my own, suggests we are really being left out/behind a lot in Europe.
We really shouldn’t be when you consider the population of Europe is well over double that of the US so we need to be considered a lot more than we actually are. IMO
Appliances like cookers, fridges and washing machines aren’t replaced very often, so add on smart upgrades for these could be an idea. Something like a gas flow sensor that could be fitted to the inlet of a cooker to alert you if there’s a flow and you’ve accidently left a burner on.
Hello,
I really want the Z1 Pro switch! It’s so beautiful and seems very practical that I think many people would like it.
All the sensors (door, humidity, temperature, presence, motion, etc.) are only available in white. It would be fantastic to have the gray color that’s available on the other devices.
Unfortunately not suitable for outdoors or ground cellars. From user manual warnings section:
…
2. This product is designed for indoor use only. Do NOT use in
humid environments or outdoors.
3. Beware of moisture, do NOT spill water or other liquids
onto the product.
…
So, still expecting to see outdoors temperature and humidity sensor some day.
Why are some of these devices not added in the EU? For example the CO2 meter and fire alarms. Are rules preventing them to be sold in EU or is it something else?
I would like to see a smart switch like s100in a small version, which fits into Europe frames from Gira, Berker…
And the trafo which goes into the wall box shouldn’t be too large with an easy connector to the wires ( clamps)
