Progress Update on My Open Source Smart Home Dashboard Project

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share some exciting progress updates on my open source project for a smart home dashboard. It’s been about a year since I started this journey, and I’m thrilled to see how far it’s come!

Initially, I was frustrated with the existing dashboard options available for Home Assistant. They just didn’t meet my needs or vision for a clean, intuitive interface. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and start building my own solution using VueJS and Python. The goal has always been to create a dashboard that allows for quick overview of important information and seamless control of home automation tasks.

Over the past year, I’ve been documenting my progress on GitHub and YouTube. It’s been a fantastic way to track my development and share my journey with others who might be interested in contributing or following along. The latest updates include significant improvements in the user interface and functionality, and I’m getting closer to releasing a stable version 1.0.

One of the most rewarding parts of this project has been the community support. Several people have reached out to offer feedback and even express interest in collaborating. It’s amazing to see how a shared passion for smart home technology can bring people together.

I’m currently focusing on refining the core features and ensuring everything runs smoothly. My aim is to make the dashboard as user-friendly as possible while maintaining its power and flexibility. I’m also exploring ways to expand its compatibility with different smart home ecosystems.

If anyone is interested in checking out the project or contributing, I’d love to hear from you! The GitHub repository is here, and I’ve been posting regular updates on YouTube. I’m always open to suggestions and collaboration opportunities.

Looking forward to sharing more updates soon!

Best regards,
