I recently purchased a 46" LED/LCD Samsung TV, a 500-watt Sony sound system, a Blu-ray player, and a Dishnetwork receiver. I want to protect these devices from brownouts, blackouts, and power surges. My TV is my top priority, as it’s a 905-watt investment, but I also want to safeguard my sound system, Blu-ray player, and other electronics. I’ve heard APC is a reliable brand, recommended by a relative who works at a Texas hospital where they exclusively use APC products. However, I’m unsure if I need one or two units for my setup. I experienced two brownouts in just two days this week, which has made me realize the urgency of getting a proper power conditioner. I’m considering reaching out to APC for advice, but any guidance from the community would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has experience with APC or other power protection solutions, I’d love to hear your recommendations and tips. Thanks in advance for your help!
