Winter in Canada can be brutal, and I’ve been thinking about how to protect my Wyze V3 cameras from the harsh weather. I recently installed a couple of these outdoor models, and while they’re great for monitoring, I’m concerned about how they’ll hold up during heavy snowfall or freezing rain.
I’ve placed them under the eaves, but even then, there’s a chance they might get wet during a storm. I’ve heard that some users have had success with waterproof covers, but I’m not sure if that’s the best approach. I’ve also considered using a small heater nearby, but I’m worried about safety and potential damage to the camera.
