Qolsys iQ4 Glass Break Sensor Sensitivity Concerns

I recently upgraded to the Qolsys iQ4 panel after using the IQ2 for quite some time. I’ve noticed that the internal glass break sensor on my iQ4 seems more sensitive compared to my old system. While this might seem like a good thing, it’s been causing some unwanted false alarms. For instance, I have several IQ glass break sensors throughout my house, and they’ve never gone off unless there’s a genuine disturbance nearby. However, the panel’s built-in sensor has triggered a few times without any clear cause.

I’m wondering if others have experienced similar issues or if there’s a way to adjust the sensitivity settings to reduce false positives. It’s a bit concerning because I rely on these sensors for security, and frequent false alarms could be disruptive. Has anyone found a solution or workaround for this? I’d appreciate any advice or insights the community might have to help me get the most out of my iQ4 system. Thanks in advance for your help!
