Running two FP300s in a small flat via Zigbee2MQTT + Home Assistant (no Aqara hub yet).
For mmWave presence, the placement lesson that mattered most for me: put the sensor on the walk path you actually use, not where it looks neat. And if you use lux to decide lights, keep that sensor away from lamps or under-TV spots. Those readings go high as soon as ambient is on and the automation thinks the room is already bright.
On dual protocol (Zigbee/Thread): I would pick one path for HA and stick to it. Mixing Zigbee2MQTT and Matter/Thread for the same class of sensors gets messy when you later want one clean presence entity.
Curious how the FP400 spatial zones compare once people have trial units on HA.
