I recall reading that the secondary temp display isn’t available in matter mode. Is that still the case, or have they updated it to support it? I am considering getting one as my bedside button/remote given it has 3 programmable buttons. Does it support binding?

The secondary display remains unusable in the Matter.
You can use the buttons however you like; they support single-tap, double-tap, and holding in Thread mode.
