Hey everyone! I just wanted to share a quick tutorial on how to set up Govee widgets on your iOS devices. I’ve been using Govee lights for a while now, and creating custom widgets has really enhanced my smart home experience. Here’s how I did it:
- Open the Govee App: Start by launching the Govee app on your iPhone.
- Navigate to Siri Shortcuts: Go to the settings menu and find the option for Siri Shortcuts.
- Create Commands: For each Govee device you want to control, create a Siri command. For example, I set up commands like “Turn on living room lights” and “Set bedroom lights to 50% brightness”.
- Add Widgets to Home Screen: Once the commands are set up, go to your home screen, hold down to enter edit mode, and add the Govee widget. You can customize it to show your favorite devices or scenes.
- Enjoy Customized Control: Now, you can easily toggle lights, adjust brightness, or even change colors right from your home screen!
