Raspberry Pi Temperature Settings and Device Integration Tips

I recently set up my Raspberry Pi 4 with PiHole and a PoE+ hat, and I’ve been tweaking the temperature settings to keep it running smoothly. I know the Pi starts throttling at 80°C, so I’ve been experimenting with the fan settings to find the perfect balance between performance and noise. It’s been a fun challenge to optimize it without compromising functionality!

On another note, I’ve been diving into integrating various smart devices into my ecosystem. For instance, I’ve successfully connected my Wyze cameras and Shelly switches with my existing setup. It’s amazing how these devices can work seamlessly together once everything is configured properly. I’d love to hear from others who have managed to integrate multiple brands—what tips or tricks have you found most helpful?

Lastly, I’ve been exploring automation rules to make my home even smarter. For example, I’ve set up a rule where my hallway lights turn off automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity. It’s a small touch, but it makes a big difference in energy efficiency. If anyone has similar automation ideas or has encountered any unique challenges, I’d love to hear about them!

Let’s keep the conversation going and share our experiences and hacks. Happy tinkering! :rocket:
