I’ve been really impressed with how Reactor has transformed my smart home setup. One of the things I use it for is automating my lights when the door opens, especially when the lighting is low. However, I’ve noticed that some of my sensors, particularly the PHILIO and FIBARO ones, can be a bit slow to return to their “NOT Tripped” state. This can sometimes lead to unintended behavior, like lights staying on longer than I’d like.
I’d love to see an option in the Activities section to manually set a sensor’s value to either 1 or 0 directly. This would give me more control over the automation flows and help prevent those little quirks that pop up now and then.
On a lighter note, I’ve completely ditched using Scenes in favor of Reactor, and it’s been a game-changer. The ability to layer multiple conditions and actions has made my home setup so much more dynamic and responsive. For anyone looking to dive into automation, I’d highly recommend giving Reactor a try—it’s incredibly powerful once you get the hang of it!
If anyone has tips on optimizing sensor response times or has found a clever workaround for slow sensor feedback, I’d love to hear about it. Let’s keep the automation magic flowing! ![]()
