Have there been any recent changes made with the Alexa interface?
Last week I started receiving loads of notification from Alexa telling me my devices were re-added to Alexa and were available to use. All devices were already live with Alexa before this.
Now I have some devices what lost their Alexa name, so default back to say “Seventeenth Light”, for the H2 EU Switch. I’ve now had to rename all these back to align to how they are setup in Aqara (I have to have matching names!) but these Devices in Alexa are now not able to be added into Alexa Groups. A quick google has pointed that this may be fixed by switching the device type to a light.
On my H2 US Switch example (Lounge Wall Lights) I can see the “Use” in the Aqara app is “Light” but this then appears in Alexa as “Other”.
I also have a H2 Dimmer and in the Device Card it doesn’t allow a Use to be chosen. This again seems to be sending over “Other” to Alexa as the Type.
Is anyone else seeing this and Aqara are you able to investigate please?
