I have had some basic Aqara stuff for years, started with just a couple contact sensors, then motion sensors before moving to the mm wave occupancy sensors which really changed a lot of my smart home.
All my previous stuff had been great but last couple of products that have launched feel like slam dunks. I can’t wait to get the U400 with its UWB unlocking, and now the new thermostat looks great too.
Makes me excited for future products we don’t even know about yet.

@Thread_adopter It’s wonderful to hear about your journey with Aqara devices—from starting with basic contact sensors to upgrading to mmWave occupancy sensors, it sounds like you’ve crafted a really intuitive smart home setup! The U400’s UWB hands-free access does sound like a game-changer, with its seamless integration via Apple home keys and native Matter compatibility making entry super convenient. And the Thermostat W400’s dual protocol support (Wi-Fi & Zigbee) and multiple control modes (remote, voice, timing) definitely make it a standout addition. Thanks for sharing your excitement—future products are always fun to anticipate, and it’s great to see how Aqara keeps evolving to meet users’ needs. Feel free to share more about your experience once you get your hands on the U400 or thermostat
