I’m not sure if there’s a broader issue with the site, but I had a bit of a shock when checking Preferences > Security and seeing that I’d been logged in via Windows and Google Chrome from Singapore recently.
After logging out of all devices and resetting my password, I noticed I was showing as “active now” from Singapore. So I realised that it had been a false alarm and likely a location detection issue on your end.
I’m currently logged in from a standard UK-based broadband connection, with no proxy or VPN, and all other services I use correctly identify my location. Just wanted to flag this in case it’s affecting others too.

@Organizer Thanks for sharing this important observation! It’s really valuable that you brought this to our attention. Flagging such potential location detection glitches can help us and other users be more aware.
Your experience could be a sign of some kind of anomaly in the location tracking system. It’s great that you took precautions like logging out of all devices and resetting your password. Since you’ve ruled out issues on your end with no proxy or VPN and other services detecting your location correctly, it does seem like it might be an issue on the platform’s side.
We encourage you and other users to keep an eye on such things and continue sharing any similar findings. If you have any further suggestions or if this issue persists, you can submit manual customer service feedback. This way, we can work together to make the platform more reliable and secure. Thanks again for contributing to our community!
