Has anyone tried rekeying the U400 lock? I’m curious how easy it is to pull off since my wife will likely want to have a physical key for backup and it would be nice not to have to change out all of our keys for the other doors in our home. Is this something than can be done easily by a locksmith if I take them out current key and the U400?

We’ve seen the same request from some users on the U100 as well. You might find this video by ModernDayReviews helpful — it shows how a locksmith could make adjustments for you.

I’m currently very confused about the same process. Searching this forum people have just been talking about replacing the lock cylinder but the U400 explicitly says on the product page that isn’t required to rekey. I already have a U100 and I want to rekey the U400 to match that key.
