Relay - 220VA Power

Just want to confirm I can power the relay unit with 220V (L1 & L2 on the L & N terminals). I want to power the unit with the same voltage that my pool pump uses. I will then run the unit in Dry contact mode to interrupt a low voltage enable signal that the pump uses. Just want to be able to disable my pump remotely if I ever have to.

Hello, welcome to the forum. Yes, you can use dry contacts to control the pump shutdown. The main condition is that after the pump is turned off, the voltage on the L and N contacts does not disappear.

The T2 relay can be powered with 100-250V AC (L and N). 220VA seems to be in the range of T2 limits in terms of maximum power (it looks like the electronics will handle up to 2500W in dry contact mode, which is much more than 220VA).

Dry contact mode does not connect the N to the L1 and L2, so it can operate on a different voltage. It will handle up to 250V AC or 85V DC. But generally the 220VA seems to be ok and it will not exceed maximum power of the relay

Other than that, you need to provide separate uninterrupted power to L and N just like @gafich10 said

Here I reviewed the T2 relay. Rele T2, let's talk about it again
I want to emphasize!!!
the old Aqara type dual relay does not support dry contacts!!!
