Reolink Camera Integration Issue in Home Assistant

I recently decided to upgrade my home security setup by purchasing a Reolink camera along with their hub. After some research, I chose this setup because of its compatibility with Home Assistant (HA), which I’ve been using for a while now. However, I’ve encountered an unexpected issue that I’m hoping the community can help me resolve.

While the camera and hub integrate seamlessly with HA, I noticed that I can no longer receive push notifications through the Reolink app on my Android device. This is concerning because the app was my primary method for receiving alerts. I tried disabling and re-enabling the push notifications within the hub and the camera settings, but both attempts resulted in an error message stating that the operation wasn’t possible.

I’m curious to know if others have experienced this issue. Does the Reolink integration in HA take over the notification functionality entirely, leaving only HA as the platform for push notifications? It’s a bit frustrating because the app worked perfectly before integrating with HA.

If anyone has successfully configured push notifications through HA after setting up their Reolink camera, I’d greatly appreciate any tips or workarounds you might have. I’m also wondering if there’s a way to use HA’s notification services alongside the Reolink app to ensure I don’t miss any alerts.
