Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well! I wanted to share an experience I recently had regarding the replacement of my smart meter. I’ve been using a digital meter with a Hichi reading head, which has been working perfectly with my smart home setup. However, my utility company is replacing it with a new meter, and I’m a bit nervous about how this will affect my system.I’ve heard from others that sometimes after a meter replacement, there can be a period where the data doesn’t show up correctly in the system. I was wondering if anyone has gone through this and if there are any steps I should take before or after the replacement to ensure a smooth transition. Should I expect a day or two of downtime? Is there anything specific I need to do in my smart home platform to accommodate the new meter?I’d also love to hear if anyone has tips on how to test the new meter once it’s installed. Should I check the data feed manually or rely on the system to detect it automatically? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!Let’s chat and share experiences. Maybe we can all learn something new from this. Thanks in advance for your help!
