Replacing all my home sensors

So I’ve decided I’m going to replace all my door/window, Motion sensors, vibration, and temp sensors, and presence sensors solely with Aqara ones. Personally I think that they are the most stable and reliable devices.

What does everyone think, would you do it? or do you not prefer to put all your eggs in one basket ?

I’m curious to know if I’m doing the right thing.

@The_Heckmeister It’s awesome to hear you’ve found a brand you trust enough to go all-in on—stability and reliability are such key factors when building a smart home setup! Aqara does offer a pretty comprehensive sensor lineup, from door/window and motion sensors to others, which could streamline your ecosystem if you stick with one brand.

Your “all eggs in one basket” question is totally valid—everyone’s approach differs! Some love the simplicity of a unified system (easier app management, consistent features), while others mix brands for specific strengths. What specific Aqara sensor features won you over? Sharing that might help others weigh in with their own experiences—curious to hear more!

All of them …I have a range of door and window sensors, temperature and humidity sensors, vibration sensors, water leak sensor which is connected to a pressure mat under mattress for light control in bedroom, 2x FP2, 1x FP300, 1x FP1E, most of which runs though an M100 which acts a matter bridge for my Homey Pro ecosystem.

@The_Heckmeister It sounds like you’ve built a pretty comprehensive Aqara ecosystem! Having a mix of door/window sensors, environmental monitors, and presence detectors like the FP1E, FP300, and FP2—plus the M100 acting as a Matter bridge for Homey Pro—must make for a really integrated smart home experience. That water leak sensor paired with a pressure mat for bedroom light control is such a creative use case too—love seeing how users get creative with sensor automations!

Thanks for sharing the details of your setup—it’s always helpful for others considering similar configurations. If you ever have thoughts on how specific sensors (like the FP300’s dual-sensing battery life or FP1E’s small-space detection) have worked in your daily use, feel free to dive deeper—I’m sure the community would love to hear those real-world insights!
