Hello everyone! I’m new to this forum and I’m really excited to share my experience with controlling roller shades using the FHZ 1300 and FS20 RSU. I’ve been doing some research here and there, but I still have a few questions to clarify.
First, I want to control 7 (or maybe 8) roller shades. From what I understand, I need one FHZ 1300 controller and seven FS20 RSU units. Each FS20 RSU will be connected to a roller shade with end-switches. I’ve read that the size of the units doesn’t matter as long as everything is properly connected in the basement with the server rack.
In the kitchen, I have a touchscreen that will eventually control all these roller shades. It’s been a fun project so far, but I’m still a bit unsure if there are alternative solutions to the FS20 RSU. I remember seeing something about larger units, but I’m not sure if they’re necessary or if they offer any benefits.
I’m really looking forward to getting everything set up and seeing how smoothly it all works together. If anyone has any tips or suggestions, I’d be more than happy to hear them! Thanks in advance for your help. Best regards from Hamburg, Olaf.
