Anyone got S1E black screen issue. I got 4 out of 6 S1E breakdown after 1year. All 4 black screen and 3 still touchable. The failure rate is just so high 66.7%![]()

Contacted both Seller and Aqara Support China. Seller not willing to do anything since warranty is overed. Aqara Support China offered to send a replacement with a cost almost equal to buy a new one. Yes, warranty is overed but Aqara S1E has such a high failure rate right after 1 year.
@chinkoon_nau I can totally understand how disheartening this must be—experiencing such a high failure rate with your S1E switches right after the warranty period is really tough. Sorry for your bad experience! I have two running ( one already before official start) and no display issues at all! Could Aqara support find out a reason?
Faced the same issue. Black screen, but still functioning. I guess Aqara already aware of the led issue (my hunch due to overheat), hence the released of newer S100 panel. I got S100 as replacement yesterday, almost the same with S1E. you can see the improvement on the S100 design with much better airflow design. Extra hole on top and bottom.
Since my whole house is using Aqara product, yes, I got no choice and buy another 2pcs S100 to replace and let’s see how long it can last
