Seeking Advice on独立控制Eglo Connect-Z的CCT和RGB灯光

Hello everyone! I’m currently working on setting up a smart lighting system in my home and have come across an interesting challenge with my Eglo Connect-Z lights. I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone else has encountered a similar issue or has advice to offer.

I recently purchased these Eglo lights, which have both CCT (color temperature) and RGB capabilities. From what I understand, the CCT is for the main lighting, while the RGB is for an additional backlight. The goal is to control these two lighting modes independently—meaning I can adjust the CCT without affecting the RGB and vice versa. However, I’m running into some difficulties achieving this setup.

I did some research and found a discussion on the Zigbee2MQTT GitHub page about this exact issue. The suggestion was to use an external converter, but I’m not entirely sure how to implement this. I also tried creating some light templates, but that didn’t solve the problem either.

Here’s what I’ve attempted so far:

  1. Using Light Templates: I tried setting up separate templates for CCT and RGB, but the issue is that changing one affects the other. For example, if I adjust the CCT brightness, the RGB light also dims or brightens unexpectedly.

  2. External Converter: I looked into using an external converter as suggested, but I’m not sure how to integrate it with my existing setup. The Eglo lights don’t have separate endpoints for each lighting mode, which complicates things further.

  3. Manual Adjustments: I’ve tried adjusting the RGB and CCT settings manually, but this is time-consuming and not a practical long-term solution.

I’m hoping someone in the community has successfully set up their Eglo Connect-Z lights to control CCT and RGB independently. Any advice, tips, or resources would be greatly appreciated! I’m also curious if others have faced similar challenges and how they resolved them.

Thank you in advance for your help! I’m really looking forward to hearing from you all.
