Seeking Advice on Smart Device Connectivity Issues

Hello everyone, I hope this message finds you all well! I’m reaching out to seek some advice regarding a connectivity issue I’ve been experiencing with my smart devices. I recently expanded my smart home setup and added a few new devices, including a smart lock and a couple of motion sensors. However, I’ve noticed that these devices are not consistently connecting to my network, which is causing some frustration.

I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps, such as resetting the devices, checking the Wi-Fi signal strength, and ensuring that all firmware updates are installed. Despite these efforts, the issue persists. I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered similar problems and if there are any solutions or workarounds that I might have missed.

On a positive note, I’ve found that using a mesh Wi-Fi system has significantly improved the connectivity of my other devices. I’m curious to know if others have had success with similar setups or if there are alternative solutions that could help stabilize the connection for these devices.

I’d also like to share a small tip that I’ve found helpful. When setting up new devices, I’ve noticed that placing them in areas with minimal signal interference and ensuring that they are within optimal range of the router helps with initial pairing and ongoing performance. I’m hoping this might be useful for someone else who’s encountering similar issues.

Thank you all in advance for your insights and suggestions. I’m looking forward to hearing from the community and learning from your experiences!
