Seeking Advice on Smart Home Tech Issues

Hey everyone, I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has encountered some of the challenges I’ve been facing with my smart home setup. I’ve been trying to troubleshoot a few issues and would love to hear if others have had similar experiences or found solutions.

First off, I’ve been having trouble logging into my Vera Edge system outside of my home network. It worked perfectly before, but now I’m stuck with just a few gray boxes on the screen. I’ve tried everything from different browsers to resetting the router, but nothing seems to help. If anyone has figured out how to resolve this, I’d be super grateful for the advice!

Another issue that’s been on my mind is the video service error I keep getting when trying to play content from Amazon Kids+. It’s pretty frustrating because it worked fine after a factory reset, but now it’s back to giving me the ‘service unavailable’ error. I’m wondering if there’s a more permanent fix out there or if others are experiencing the same problem.

Lastly, I’ve been curious about the Aqara Display Switch V1 EU. I’m really interested in integrating it directly into Home Assistant without relying on the Aqara app, but I’m not sure when or if support will be added for ZHA or Z2M. Has anyone had any luck with this or know of any workarounds?

I’d love to hear from anyone who’s tackled these issues or has tips on how to approach them. It’s always reassuring to know I’m not alone in this and that there are solutions out there!
