I’m looking for some guidance on how to monitor battery levels for my Z-Wave smart lock. I’ve been using it with my Qolsys IQ panel, and it works perfectly, but I’m a bit worried about the battery life. Has anyone else experienced issues with low battery alerts on their Z-Wave locks? I’d love to know how the system notifies users when the battery is running low.
From what I understand, different lock brands have varying thresholds for what’s considered a low battery, so it would be great if this could be customizable. Also, I noticed that the battery level is only visible on the Alarm.com website and not on the iPhone app. Does anyone know if there are plans to update the app to include this feature?
