Hello everyone, I’m currently exploring the integration of my Sonos devices with Homey and have encountered an interesting challenge. I have several Sonos speakers in my living room, which I often group together for a seamless audio experience. However, I’ve noticed that adjusting the volume on one device doesn’t affect the entire group—it only changes the volume for that specific speaker. I’m eager to create a flow where changing the volume on one device would uniformly adjust it for the whole group.
I believe this could be achieved using the ‘ALS volume veranderd’ trigger in Homey’s Sonos integration. However, I’m unsure how to utilize this variable effectively. The interface presents a blue tag with an example value like ‘0.5’, but I’m unclear on how to incorporate this into my flow. Ideally, I’d like it so that when I lower the volume on one Sonos device, the entire group’s volume adjusts accordingly, maintaining the same relative level or percentage.
I’ve spent quite a bit of time experimenting with different configurations, but I’m still stuck on how to properly set up this trigger. Any guidance or suggestions on how to structure this flow would be greatly appreciated. I’m hopeful that the community can offer some insights or workarounds to make this functionality a reality. Looking forward to your thoughts and advice!
