Hi all, I’m currently exploring the best way to integrate my Z-Wave setup with my MQTT broker in Home Assistant. I have a few Z-Wave devices, including a Z-Stick Gen5 and some sensors, and I’m looking to streamline their communication with my MQTT broker running on Synology. I’ve heard about the Z-Wave to MQTT add-on but I’m not entirely sure how to configure it properly, especially with SSL certificates. Has anyone successfully set this up and could share their experience or tips? I’m also curious if there are alternative methods or best practices for ensuring smooth communication between Z-Wave and MQTT. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
