Hi everyone! I’m new to the smart home scene and I’m trying to figure out the best way to integrate some Zigbee devices into my setup. I’ve heard great things about Zigbee, especially for lighting and automation, but I’m a bit overwhelmed with where to start.
I’ve been eyeing some Qubino dimmers and maybe a few TRVs for temperature control. However, I’ve read that some devices can be finicky, especially when it comes to battery life and manual adjustment. Does anyone have experience with these devices? How do they handle battery life, and can they be manually adjusted if the power runs out?
On a related note, I’ve been really impressed with how my Govee lights have transformed my home. I’m curious if anyone has a good sunrise theme for wall lights that they’d be willing to share? I’d love to create a more natural morning routine with my lights.
I also noticed a few posts about connectivity issues with cameras and other devices. I’m wondering if anyone has tips for troubleshooting these kinds of problems. I’ve had some hiccups with my Nest Camera, and it would be great to have a go-to checklist for resolving connectivity issues.
If anyone has advice, tips, or even just words of encouragement, I’d really appreciate it! Let’s make this journey into smart homes a fun and successful one. Thanks in advance for your help! ![]()
